Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul 5. sınıf Güneş, Dünya ve Ay ünitesine yönelik kavram testi (GDAKaT) geliştirmektir. Araştırma, test geliştirme prosedürlerine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklemi 102 ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada geliştirilen GDAKaT iki aşamalı bir yapıda hazırlanmıştır. İlk aşaması çoktan seçmeli yapıda ikinci aşaması ise ilk aşamada yapılan seçimin nedeninin sorgulandığı açık uçlu bir yapıda hazırlanmıştır. İki aşamalı GDAKaT’ın her iki aşamasının geçerliğini sağlamak amacıyla fen eğitimi ve fizik eğitimi alan uzmanlarının görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. KR-20 değeri 0.60 ve Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı 0.79 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Madde analizi sonuçları incelendiğinde İki aşamalı GDAKaT’ın ortalama güçlük değerinin 0.50 ve ortalama ayırt edicilik değerinin 0.45 olarak hesaplandığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca bağımsız örneklemler t testi sonuçları da İki aşamalı GDAKaT’ın üst ve alt grubu ayırt edebildiğine işaret etmektedir. Sonuç olarak araştırmada geliştirilen İki aşamalı GDAKaT geçerli ve güvenilir bir testtir.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop a concept test (GDAKaT) for the 5th grade secondary school Sun, Earth and Moon unit. The research was conducted according to test development procedures. The sample of the research consists of 102 secondary school 5th grade students. GDAKaT developed in the research was prepared in a two-tier structure. The first stage was prepared in a multiple-choice structure, and the second stage was prepared in an open-ended structure where the reason for the choice made in the first stage was questioned. In order to ensure the validity of both stages of the two-tier GDAKaT, the opinions of experts in the fields of science education and physics education were consulted. The KR-20 value was calculated as 0.60 and the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was calculated as 0.79. When the item analysis results were examined, it was seen that the average difficulty value of the two-tier GDAKaT was calculated as 0.50 and the average discrimination value was calculated as 0.45. In addition, independent samples t test results indicate that the two-tier GDAKaT can distinguish the upper and lower groups. As a result, the two-tier GDAKaT developed in the research is a valid and reliable test.
