Abstract
ÖZET Bu çalışmada çokkültürlülük değişkenlerinden biri olan yoksulluk psikolojik danışma bağlamında ele alınmıştır. İlk olarak yoksulluk yaş ve nesil etkisi, cinsiyet ve engellilik bağlamında irdelenmiş, ardından eğitim ve sağlık hizmetlerine erişim ile ilgili durum betimlenmiştir. Daha sonra psikolojik danışma süreci için yoksul danışan kültürü hakkında bilgi verilip, yoksullarla çalışan psikolojik danışmanlar için gerekli olan yeterlilikler tartışılmıştır. Amerikan Psikolojik Danışma Birliği ve Türk Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Derneği’nin belirlediği yeterlilikler ve etik ilkeler kapsamında, yoksullarla çalışan psikolojik danışmanların mesleki sorumlulukları tartışılmıştır. Farklı sosyal sınıflardan gelen psikolojik danışman ve danışanın, psikolojik danışma sürecinde çalışma uyumunun olumsuz yönde etkilenmemesi için dikkat edilmesi gerekenler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Psikolojik danışmanlar için geliştirilen çokkültürlü vaka kavramlaştırma modelleri yanında, yoksullarla çalışan psikolojik danışmanlar için geliştirilen CARE Modeli hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Son olarak psikolojik danışmanlar için mikrosaldırganlık, sosyal adalet ve hak savunuculuk konuları hakkında bilgi verilerek, yoksullar özelinde karşılaşılan mikrosaldırganlık ifadeleri hakkında örnekler verilmiş ve ek olarak psikolojik danışmanların hak savunuculuk rollerini yoksulluk bağlamında incelenmiştir.

Abstract
ABSTRACT In this study, poverty, which is one of the multicultural variables, is discussed in terms of psychological counseling. Firstly, poverty is discussed in terms of age and generation impact and gender and disability, then the situation related to access to education and health services is described. Afterwards, information about the poor client culture for the psychological counseling process was given, and the competencies required for the psychological counselors working with the poor were discussed. Within the scope of the competencies and ethical principles determined by the American Psychological Counseling Association and the Turkish Psychological Counseling and Guidance Association, the professional responsibilities of psychological counselors working with the poor are discussed. Information was given about what should be considered in order not to negatively affect work compliance of psychological counselors and clients from different social classes during the counseling process. In addition to the multicultural case conceptualization models developed for psychological counselors, information was provided on the CARE Model developed for psychological counselors working with the poor. Finally, by giving information about micro-aggressiveness, social justice and rights advocacy for psychological counselors, examples are given about the micro-aggressiveness expressions faced by the poor and additionally, the rights advocacy roles of psychological counselors are examined in the context of poverty
