Abstract
Günümüzde işletmelerin toplumda yer edinebilmeleri için sosyal sorumluluk anlayışına sahip olmaları ve bu tarz faaliyetleri gerçekleştirmeleri için de planlamalarını bu yönde yapmaları gerekmektedir. Yaratmış oldukları iktisadi faydanın yanı sıra işletmelerin toplumsal sorunların çözümüne mümkün mertebe katkı sağlamaları gerekmektedir. Bunun için de işletme kaynaklarını bu yönde kullanmaya özen göstermelidirler. Sosyal sorumluluk projeleri gerçekleştiren işletmeler toplumsal sorunların çözümü konusunda uzman oldukları konularda proje üretirlerse kendileri açısından daha faydalı sonuçlar ortaya koyacaktır. Bu doğrultuda Türkiye Jokey Kulübü’nün yürüttüğü sosyal sorumluluk projelerinden biri olarak atla terapi (hipoterapi) uygulaması iyi bir örnek olarak görülmektedir. Zira engelli çocukların hayata tutunmalarının sağlanması ve topluma kazandırılması için alternatif bir tedavi yöntemi olan atla terapi uygulaması dünyada yer etmiş uygulamalardan birdir. Günümüzde özellikle çocuklarda uygulanan ve duruma göre etkili olan atla terapi, at eşliğinde yapılan fiziksel, zihinsel ve duyusal bozuklukların fonksiyonel olarak iyileşmesini sağlamak amacıyla atın yaptığı hareketlerden yararlanılan bir tedavi yöntemidir. Türkiye’de atla terapi uygulamasını hayata geçiren önemli kurumlardan biri Türkiye Jokey Kulübü'dür. Bu bağlamda çalışmada köklü bir geçmişe sahip olan kurumun “Engelli Çocukların Atla Terapi Merkezi Projesi” ele alınarak bu kapsamda değerlendirmeye tabi tutulacaktır.

Abstract
Today, businesses need to have a sense of social responsibility in order to have a place in the society and they need to plan in this direction in order to carry out such activities. In addition to the economic benefits they have created, businesses should contribute to the solution of social problems as much as possible. For this reason, they should take care to use their business resources in this direction. In this direction, horse therapy (hipotherapy) is seen as a good example as one of the social responsibility projects carried out by the Jockey Club of Turkey. Horse therapy, which is an alternative treatment method for disabled children to hold on to life and reintegrate them into society, is one of the practices that have taken place in the world. Horse therapy, which is applied especially in children and is effective according to the situation, is a treatment method that uses the movements of the horse in order to provide functional recovery of physical, mental and sensory disorders performed with horses. One of the important institutions that implemented the practice of horse therapy in Turkey is the Jockey Club of Turkey. In this context, the institution's "Horse Therapy Center for Children with Disabilities Project" will be discussed and evaluated within this scope. Businesses that carry out social responsibility projects will produce more beneficial results for themselves if they produce projects on the subjects of which they are experts in solving social problems.
