Abstract
Küreselleşme, sanayileşme ve kentleşme gibi etkenler sonucunda ortaya çıkan değişim ve dönüşüm aile kurumunu da değiştirmiştir. Artık aileler geçmişte olduğundan çok daha fazla desteklenmeye ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu durum da aile politikası kavramını doğurmuştur. Aile politikası kavramının farklı pencerelerden farklı biçimlerde ele alındığı görülmektedir. Ülkemizde konuya ilişkin literatür incelendiğinde ise, aile politikaları konusunda kapsamlı teorik incelemelerin ve uygulanan politikaların etkinliğine yönelik akademik çalışmaların yeterince yapılmadığı görülmektedir. Ülkemizde, aile politikası konusu kavram, kapsam, amaçlar, eğilimler gibi yönlerden yeterince tartışılmamış hatta bu hususlar terminolojik olarak dahi yeterince izah edilememiştir. Yine ülkemizde aile politikaları konusundaki çalışmalar genel olarak, tek bir konuya yoğunlaşmaktadır. Aile politikaları konusunun bir bütün olarak ele alınarak etkinliğinin incelendiği çalışmalara ise rastlanmamaktadır. Buradan yola çıkılarak bu çalışmada konu; teorik açıdan geniş bir şekilde ele alındıktan sonra, Türkiye’deki aile politikaları tüm yönleriyle ortaya konmaya çalışılmış, uygulanan politikaların etkinliği ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiş ve konuya ilişkin değerlendirmeler yapılarak öneriler sunulmuştur. Çalışmada Türkiye’deki aile politikalarının özellikle son yıllarda önemli mesafeler kat ettiği, konunun etkin bir şekilde yürütüldüğü, bununla birlikte gerek politika oluşturma sürecinde gerekse oluşturulan politikaların uygulanmasında halen çeşitli eksikler olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
The change and transformation that has occurred as a result of factors such as globalization, industrialization and urbanization have also changed the family institution. Now families need much more support than they are in the past. This situation emerged the concept of family politics. It is seen that the concept of family policy is handled differently from the different windows. When examined the literature on the subject, it is seen that comprehensive theoretical examinations on family politics and academic studies on the effectiveness of applied policies are not done sufficiently. In our country, the issues such as concept, scope, objectives and tendencies of family politics have not been sufficiently discussed and even these terms have not been adequately explained in terms of terminology. Again, the work on family politics in our country generally focuses on a single topic. There is no study of the effectiveness of family politics as an overview. In this study; after examining the issues from the theoretical point of view, have been attempted to examine all aspects of family policies in Turkey and put forward to assessments and made recommendations. In the work it is presented, on the subject of family policies in Turkey, especially in recent years, made significant progress, the issue has effectively carried out, in both policy-making process and implementation. However, was considered to be still several shortcomings in the implementation and establishing policies.
