Child labour is a current social problem. Short and long term policies are produced for the solution. While short term are aimed making it more suitable for workers' health and work safety, the goal of eliminating this problem from the long term is taken into consideration. There are too many regulations on the legal aspects of the fight against child labor in Turkey. But it is difficult to say that the targeted achievements are achieved in practice. This is due to the lack of compliance in the legislation area and the fact that children work mostly in the informal sector.
