Abstract

The concept of indifference is defined as unconcorned of individuals by strike reckless an attitude towards their events and people. This concept has reflected condition that harms individuals and seen in all fields. The aim of this study is proved as management literatüre an devaluating indifference level of organization while describing dimensions of organizational indifference. Datas in research were collected by using survey method and study was made Ankara and Mersin provinces between the months of April-May 2016. Study was applied to 692 participants from the public and private sector workers. Indifference as a result of study was gathered six dimensions as indifference towards job, manager, organization, colleagues, clients and ethical norms. Datas obtained as a result of study were applied t-test and ANOVA. According to results obtained, it is seen that indifference level of employees is low. As a result of analysis, it is determined that there is a significant relation between sector and gender, education. On the other hand according to results of factor analysis, while dimension which seen the highest of indifference level is indifference towards organizational, dimension which seen the lowest is indifference towards customer. In this context, It is proposed to be associated with other variables for better understanding of the concept of indifference.
